Yvonne and I served together in the Army, going back to the early 70's. We went to both basic and advanced lab tech school in San Antonio, we were roommates, and we roamed all over Korea together, part of the time with my husband Scott. It seemed where Yvonne was stationed, I was sure to end up or where I was stationed, Yvonne would end up. There she would be with her knapsack on her back, her little change purse, and a huge smile. I knew that if Yvonne was there, I was going to have great assignment! It would really be an adventure. Yvonne was always there for you.
I would laugh at her after she retired and she said she was going to college. We would talk through the years and she would still be going to college.
I always called Yvonne a “Free Spirit” and now, she truly is a “Free Spirit”!
