Winifred S. Laymon's Obituary
Winifred S. Laymon, 95, passed away in Redlands, California, on May 25, 2017. Originally from Norfolk, Virginia, Winifred had spent over 70 years in the San Bernardino area. She married Lon Laymon of Laymon Candy, in 1945; upon his return from the US Navy. Together they had three children.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband who passed in 2009.
She is survived by her children, Denise Laymon of Colton, CA; Ken (Caroline) Laymon of Redlands, CA; and Linda (Tim) Applen of San Bernardino, CA. Also surviving her are her three grandchildren Lona Laymon Nolan, Heather Applen Hall and Dillion Applen along with 5 great-grandchildren Jameson, Hudson & Greyson Hall and Tosten & Vivien Mai Applen
Winifred was laid to rest privately next to her late husband Lon at a graveside service on Monday, June 5, 2017, at Montecito Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Bobbitt Memorial Chapel.
