So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I remember her from when you lived by SBVC. You are blessed to have had both your parents live such long, rich lives. Throughout the years ahead, you'll find comfort in remembering and sharing the experiences, lessons learned, examples set by your parents. I always thought of Lon as being someone bigger than life itself.

We are so thankful for the support that Mrs. Laymon gave us when we organized our Neighborhood Association. Her humor in her letters to us is priceless, and the letters will remain in our scrapbook of memories. She wrote about driving down to get her mail and then she would drive around the Rose Garden and the roses would call out to her saying that they need help! That spurred us on and we continue to take care of those roses as they "call out" to us telling us what they need!
