Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of Bill Senior. Without question he was a consummate statesman, mentor, and standard bearer for the principles of Christian living. I have always considered it an honor and a pleasure to have had the opportunity to work with him on many different professional, civic, Church, personal and family projects. Although we will miss his earthly presence, his works and deeds will continue throught the lives of the many pople he came in contact with during his journey here on earth. Back the day, while doing a story for The Sun, I was at a Christian school. Above the blackboard in the classroom I entered was this: "Your life is a Gift from God. What you do with your life is your gift to God."
From all that I have read and learned from his family and friends, Bill, presented God with many gifts in thanks for the gift of life.
He honored faith, family and country. He was a success in all those areas. He did this by serving God by serving others, including the greater community.
The qualities he brought to his family and his work are borne of the values that should be vital to this community and this nation.
Thanks, Bill, for those brief encounters we had at either a civic function, a basketball game at CSUSB or through your extended family.
