Tanya Ann Rigot's Obituary
On December 15, 2022, Tanya Rigot (Staviski), our sweet momma, very suddenly and unexpectedly went to be with the Lord.
We, (her husband and children) are devastated in every way.. she was the light of our lives and the soul and foundation of our family.
Blaine & Danielle, Matthew and Natalya were her everything, and her grandchildren filled her heart to the brim. She let them know how much she loved them, every day, in absolutely every way she could.
She was 59 years young, and so very passionate about being active and in nature with her family and friends. She did “walkie talkies” nearly every day... hiking or walking somewhere beautiful with friends and family every chance she could. Her joyous energy was unmatched, and she wore her heart on her sleeve, eager to love each day even more than the prior.
She cast her net wide and deep, touching so many lives around her. She never missed an invitation to make memories, and she never missed a Sunday at church if she could get there. It’s so hard to imagine a world without her spunky sparkle in it.
Tanya was larger than life, and wanted to live to be 104 years old, like her Baba. She wouldn’t have chosen to leave us so soon, but God’s plans are beyond our understanding. Our pain is eased knowing that she is now one of His brightest Angels.
She was everywhere, all of the time; and she always will be, as we carry her spirit through us, in everything we do.
Tanya is survived by her husband, Blaine Rigot; her parents, Father Peter and Charlotte Staviski; her children, Danielle Carbajal and her husband Phillip, Matthew Rigot and Natalya Rigot; her granddaughters Isabella and Madelyn Carbajal; her siblings Gregory
Staviski and his wife Athena, Tamara Dalkas and her husband Peter. Tanya is also survived by a large extended family, including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
