ROGER ALEXANDER SMITH III's Obituary
Dr. Roger Alexander Smith III, 84, passed away at his home in San Bernardino on February 19, 2007. Dr. Smith was a neurosurgeon 46 years in private practice and on staff at St. Bernardine Medical Center, San Bernardino County Hospital, Loma Linda University Medical Center and Jerry L. Pettis Veterans Hospital. Dr. Smith also served in the US Navy and US Army medical services. He is survived by his wife Elena, 2 daughters, Terry Rae, Candy Trick, 2 sons, Jerry W. Smith, Frank Smith, brother William Smith, 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian Smith and son Roger A. Smith IV. A memorial service will be Monday February 26, 2007 at 10:00AM at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino, CA
