I worked with Roger as the Surgical Service Administrative Officer at the VA Hospital and was honored to assist him in serving the neurosurgical needs of our veterans. I also enjoyed discussing opera and popular Mexican music of the 20th century which he learned to appreciate over the years. I wish to offer my condolences on the loss of Roger who, in addition to being a major contributor to medicine in the Inland Empire, was also a historian in field of medicine, as well. I will always treasure our local history talks and sharing notes. Roger was a truly kind man who good heart. I know that this is a very hard time for his family.
