Mikie (Clark) Schabow
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Van Horn. I'm certain you don't remember me but my name is Mikie Clark Schabow (blonde!), and I dated and was good friends with Rod in the mid 1980's. He was a lot of fun and was very kind and patient with my two children. In fact, one afternoon, Mr. Van Horn played the bag pipes for my then six-year-old son, Ryan. Well, Ryan is now 42 years-old and has played the bagpipes at many a wedding and funeral. Just to let you know how influential you were in our lives! I am very grateful to have known him and his family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
