I personally met Rod in June 2006 when he became a member of the 2006-2007 Grand Jury - my last Grand Jury, as I retired in June 2007. He was a delight and I enjoyed his wit and humor. When I retired and joined RESBC, he let me nominate him to be president of the Retired Employees of San Bernardino County. Although in that capacity for a brief time, he has left his mark on RESBC and will be truly missed. I feel blessed for having met Rod and having him as a friend, even for a short time. I've only known Roderic for two years. Every two weeks when he would come in for a haircut he would bring me the LA Times. In the two years that I have known him I have really enjoyed every conversation with him.
