Roberta and I spent many wonderful moments and on each one of them I learned a lot from this remarkable woman who accomplish things that only a extremely smart person could facing the obstacles she had to face since she has a little girl. Intelligent, funny, and amazingly intriguing, this woman left an empty space in my heart and there is no one day I don't think about her because life is full of things that she loved and that she made possible for others to love.
so many reunions, lunches and attorneys nights were part of my experiences with this beautiful woman that today I am remembering with love and with a lot of nostalgia,
I miss you Roberta, the world miss you, and legal aid never will be the same because you loved that organization like it was part of your own body.

It had the opportunity to get to know Roberta through a committee we both served on for the past 5 years. Her dedication to the people she served was unwavering, she never gave up despite that many challenges that came her way. Our last conversation at this committee meeting was about continuing the good fight and being advocates for those in need in this community. I can imagine God telling Roberta, "Come home and rest my faithful servant." She will be greatly missed by us all!

Oh how Roberta will be missed!! Sometimes it is said that "he or she was one of a kind"....that could not be more appropriate then for Roberta!

What a caring person she was in operating her Legal Aide organization and reaching out to SO many who did not have resources or even know where to turn in their time of need for legal assistance.

We early on agreed to disagree (agreeably) on political issues and debate them we did, but I love and treasure the time I worked with Roberta and served on her Board......working together to try to find the resources to take care of so many in need.

Goodbye, just for now Roberta, but never forgotten!

I was saddened to learn of Roberta's passing on July 4th. That date would be ananingful to someone who worked so tirelessly to protect the freedom of so many people that could not afford legal services; I had the unique opportunity and pleasure to be trained by Roberta to volunteer at the legal aid clinic many years go and saw first hand her dedication to helping people in a profession that she herself could have been the lawyer as she had so much knowledge of the legal field. Instead she work relentlessly to coordinate services for the people that knew so little of the law but were impacted significantly by the law and she made sure that they were aware of their rights. The community will definitely miss this dedicated person's services to them. It was a pleasure to know her in this life several years ago (had not seen her in many, many years) and hope to see her in the next.

Grace and Peace of God, Our Father and Our Lord Jesus Christ for Roberta and her Son, Neil and family members and friends.
