Mr Robert Paul Hughes' Obituary
Robert Paul Hughes, 89, passed away after a short illness, in Loma Linda, CA. Originally from Miami FL, Bob served honorably in the United States Navy during WWII. After being discharged he worked as a civilian at The Presidio for the United States Arm, for over 25 years as a painter in maintenance.
Bob was alert and spunky to the end. He was a determined an opinionated man with a clear mind. He had a good sense of humor and was well loved by all his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Zita and his siblings Dorothy and Seth.
He is survived by his children, Deborah (Walter) Wildman of Twin Falls, ID and Donna (Jeff) Anderson of Odgen, UT. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Emily (Steve) Maschek, Matt (Tonya) Wildman, Erica (Matt) Hjort, Erin (Logan) Godfrey, Daniel (Janice) Sterger, Laura (Mike) Hadley, Lance Sterger, Leo (Whitney) Sterger, Luke (Danielle) Sterger, Carl “CJ” Weis, Christina Weis; along with his great-grandchildren Kyler, Kelsey, Megan, Andrew, and Madison Maschek; Trev, Zander, and Taelynn Wildman; Atreau Tipton, Dominic and Brooklyn Hjort; Kira, Camden, and Kiersten Hadley; Logan, Zoe, Dylan, Elyse, Casey and Brighton Sterger; and Cameron Worsley.
Bob will be laid to rest privately with his beloved wife Zita McDonnell Hughes, in Olivet Memorial Park, in Coma, California.
