Tessie Crumpler
I was Phyllis caregiver for the last 3 years of her life. She was a loving, caring, strong and Godly woman.
She loves her family so much. She told me stories of her growing up with her 4 sisters & 5 brothers in Aliquippa and how she met the love of her life Steve Blicha.
She always tells me she loves me and the other caregivers and I love her dearly. She also told me that I'm the best and would never forget me. Phyllis, I hope someday our path will cross again.
Most of the time we both find a way to make each other laugh.
When I first started, I found out that at age 96 she had fallen, broke some bones, had a surgery, was able to walk with a walker, and teach her son in law Reif how to line dance.
It showed how resilient she was.
With this, she taught me that if you fall, you get up, keep moving forward, don't give up.
Phyllis thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to care for you. So much memories. I love you.
You are well loved.
REST IN PEACE.
