Mrs Nancy Jane Hutton's Obituary
Born in Frenchville, PA. on 6/15/1920, died in San Bernardino, CA on 4/15/1915. Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt & great aunt. Daughter of Clarence Briel Mignot & Vera Elizabeth Peavy Mignot, arrived in Highland, CA. on 12/17/1935. Graduated from San Bernardino High School, Valley College, Immaculate Heart College, & USC with a Masters of Business Administration. Internships and Residencies in Dietetics completed at Queen of Angels, Los Angeles County Hospital and Sawtelle Hospital. Was a member of American Dietetic Association until 1999, Was employed by Los Angeles County Hospital and transferred to San Bernardino County Hospital from which she retired. Completed her teaching degree at University of Redlands in 1952 so that she could teach in the interrim between hospital positions. Was Executive Dietician of all of San Bernardino County until her retirement. She taught at Valley College, Chaffey College, Riverside City College and University of California at San Bernardino in the Pre-Med and Nursing Programs, concurrently working as On-Staff Consulting Dietician for many rest Homes in Loma Linda, San Bernardino, and Fontana. She was a member of Zonta International from 1968 until her death and a member of San Bernardino Woman’s Club. She is pre-deceased by her parents Clarence and Vera Mignot, son, Michael Thomas Hutton, grandson, Matthew Hutton, brother, Earnest Mignot, sisters, Mary May Mignot, Joan Fiscalini, and Althea Glover and husband, Gail Glover. She is Survived by daughter, Mary E. Weller-McQuillen amd husband, Gordon McQuillen, grand daughters, Megan Hennenger, Rachel Hutton, Amanda Hutton, brother-in-law, Frank Fiscalini, and his children, Lisa Hausle, Lori Sweat, Jill Peters and Gregg Fiscalini and their families and nephew, Clarence Glover.
A viewing and Rosary shall be held on 4/30/2015 from 4-7 PM at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA 92404. Funeral Mass shall be at 11 AM at St. Adelaide Catholic Church, 27457 E. Baseline, Highland, CA 92346 on 5/1/2015. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery at 12:30 at 570 E. Highland, CA. 92404. A reception at Hannah’s Restaurant, 1355 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA 92404 shall immediately follow the services.
