Mylan T. Johnson, age 45, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2025, at Community Hospital of San Bernardino, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Antioch, California, and raised in Pittsburg, Mylan lived a life filled with strength, grace, and love.
For 15 years, Mylan excelled as a financial analyst, known for her sharp mind, unwavering integrity, and dedication to her work. But her true joy was found outside the office—in the moments shared with family, friends, and the world she was so eager to explore.
Mylan found joy in the simple and profound moments of life—traveling the world with friends and family, sharing meals and laughter, golfing, playing board games, and giving back through charity runs and community events. Her warmth, adventurous heart, and unwavering kindness left an indelible mark on everyone blessed to know her.
She is lovingly survived by her mother, Qua Johnson (Richard Wilson); her brothers, Anthony Johnson (Alicia), Troy Johnson (Irene), and John Johnson (Lorna). She was preceded in death by her father, John H. Johnson. Mylan also leaves behind a large extended family and many beloved friends who will cherish her memory always.
A celebration of Mylan’s life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, with the service to follow at 11:00 AM. A reception (repass) will take place immediately afterward at the same location. All who knew and loved Mylan are welcome to attend and honor her beautiful legacy.
Though cancer may have taken her from our sight. Mylan lived fully, loved deeply, and leaves behind memories that will continue to inspire. She will be missed beyond measure, but her light will never fade.
