I called you over the years, on every 7/5...I texted and left random messages, and always tried...and one day out of the blue you called and you told me. And it had to be some years ago, that you mentioned it in our casual conversation, and we kept our spirits up about it, about life, and about love, because that's what we always did about all the things.
And I didn't know that would be the last time I'd speak to you...as you became more private and reserved, and more time passed. I hoped you'd answer, and I'd get to hear your voice, even for just a few minutes we could update each other and share a laugh! You sho' kept that line for life (214-TX baby!), so I know you received every single message! And now I received that - you knew! You knew that I Love you and always will!
My homie, my girl, my road dawg, my ninja samurai, my player partner, my "game recognize game", my beautiful soul sista'...and now my angel, an MVP in my life, a blessed and highly favored friend, now in true spirit form...
