MARION LAURA COOK's Obituary
Marion Laura Cook , 92 passed away on Monday July 20th 2009 in Redlands, California. She was an 88 year resident of San Bernardino. Marion was a lifetime Honorary member of the Arrowview Jr. High PTA and belonged to the San Bernardino City Fire Department’s Woman’s Auxiliary. She was a Girl Scout leader and enjoyed the outdoors, Oil Painting, Gardening and was quite skilled as a seamstress. In fact, she enjoyed making clothes for her 3 daughters. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she was always proud of the accomplishments of her daughters and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent E Cook. Survivors include her daughters; Judith (Donald) Boyce-McMeekin, Joy Reynolds, and Marion Haberkorn; her grandchildren; Jeanne Boyce-Geane, Cathy Bailey, Curt Janeway, Trey Janeway, Robert Haberkorn, Diana Haberkorn, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel’s Courtyard Chapel at 1299 E Highland Ave. in San Bernardino on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Mt View Cemetery.
