Marion always loved her three, growing, adventurous daughters, and possibly each in a different way. As the girl's stepfather to Judy and Joy, and natural father to Rhea, began marriage and family together, Vince and Marion Cook created a loving and exuberant family life of smart, independent, and beautiful daughters. My most vivid memory of love in action for Marion came always from Judy. Her mother came first and no matter how busy Judy was in her career or new husband, she was with her mother each week, being gentle and giving love being by her side. I was blessed to have received a phone call from Judy when her dear mother had fallen into a semi-coma. I knew Judy was deeply saddened, but now it was time for her to say goodbye. Judy, your family has my heartfelt sympathy at this time over the loss of your mom. Please extend Bobby's and my love to you and your family at this time.
