Maj. Mario Perez's Obituary
Major Mario Perez, of Moreno Valley, CA, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2017 at 1:40 p.m., in Riverside, California at the age of 90. He is survived by Gwen Perez, his wife of 27 years, and their five children, Lisa Plein, Ramona Perez, Marcus Perez, Phillip Perez, and John Perez along with nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and his three brothers and two sisters and their many children. During his life, Major Perez was committed to serving his country and his community. Through his work with Rotary International, he made a difference in the lives of many in both the local Riverside community and among the many children at Orfanaiorio Emanuel Orphanage and with Desarrollo Integral De La Familia in Tijuana, Mexico.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made either to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital or to the many organizations that nurture children who struggle against great odds
