Margaret ‘Marge’ M. Kohfeldt, 91, passed away at her home on February 15, 2015. Born in Long Beach CA, Marge had resided in San Bernardino since 1937. She graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1941 and then attended Valley Read Obituary
I have the best childhood memories of spending time in Margaret's home, mostly having lunch in her kitchen after school and Christmas time seeing her husbands little cities he took the time to display. They both always made me feel welcomed. Rest In Peace.
Mrs. Kohfeldt was a wonderful supervisor when I joined the Office of Community Development in the early 1980s. She taught me how to answer the phones and she gave me the best compliments and she also gave me a chance to learn computers when no one would. She told me if you just keep the winning smile you will go places in the County and I did. I worked for the same department for over 25 years learning everything about county procedures and equipment. Occasionally we would see each other at Stater's or Long's Drug and we always would hug and great each other. I'm so glad she lived a full life. She will be greatly missed. Margie was a joy to be with. Her dry sense of humor could always brighten my day. Tom and I have played bridge with her for many years, and will miss her very much.
