MARCELLA "MARCY" M. LILBURN's Obituary
Marcella (Marcy) M. Lilburn, 95, died March 27, 2007 in San Diego, CA. She was born September 8, 1911 to Joseph and Matilda Link in Oakdale, PA. After graduation from Oakdale High School, she worked as a telephone operator for several local utility providers. Following WWII she moved to Pasadena, CA, where she worked for JPL. In 1948, she married Bert A. Lilburn. They moved to Victorville, CA in 1956. She resided there until her retirement from Contel in l974, moving to Encinitas, CA until her convalescence. She was preceded in death by her husband Bert A. Lilburn, her son Richard L. McComas and her daughter Mary Leslie Lilburn. She is survived by her daughters, Siegrid McComas Blackman of Cupertino, CA, Claire Antista of Oceanside, CA, Nanci Agee of Victor, MT, Lori Lilburn of San Diego, CA and son Stephen T. Lilburn of Carson City, NV, 12 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was a member of the Victor Valley chapter of The Order of Eastern Star. Services will be Monday April 2, 2007 at Victor Valley Mortuary 15609 11th St. Victorville, CA, with burial to follow at Victor Valley Memorial Park, 17150 “C” St. Victorville, CA. Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, San Bernardino, CA is directing all services.
