Louis E. Yeager, 91, passed away at his home in Highland, CA on April 1, 2012. Originally from Lexington, MA, Louis had lived in the San Bernardino area for 49 years. He proudly served his country during WWII in the United State Read Obituary
I want to thank you the family for sharing this wonderful man with the chikldren of SBCUSD. I was honored twice once as a child attending school and he came and visited my class. Frances & Family, My sincere sympathy to you in the loss of your husband and father. Lou was my very first boss at Shell Oil Company in San Bernardino in 1971. I was a newly married 19 year old when Lou interviewed me for a receptionist job. I worked at Shell for five years until the office moved to Anaheim. Lou was probably the nicest, friendliest boss I've ever had. I didn't know it at the time, but I sure do know it now. I saw him several times over the years and he always greeted me with a smile. To my sister, Frannie and all the extended Yeager family: Today, while in many ways is a sad one is also a time of happy remembrances as we all think back on the many and varied good times we had with Louis. His optimistic personality and 'can do' attitude were infectious and remain so in our memories. Best wishes to all on this day of celebration of his great life.

My parents, Buzz and Eileen Farren, always enjoyed spending time with you and your husband at Arrowhead Country Club and playing golf as well. I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Louis. What I remember most about Uncle Louis was his infectious smile and unbridled enthusiasm. He was fortunate to have such a wonderful wife, children and grandchildren. He was "Lucky" indeed.
