Karen Jo Allen's Obituary
Karen Jo Allen
With a heavy heart we must announce the passing of Karen Jo. She died peacefully at home with her daughters and close friends by her side Oct. 27, 2010.
Karen was born in Ohio Jan. 01, 1942, and lived throughout the states, landing and making the biggest footprint in San Bernardino, CA. Karen had a heart of gold and shared her love with everyone she met; never really meeting a stranger. She will fondly be remembered for her blonde hair and high heel shoes! She was the owner of The Clover Club, The Greenbriar, and co-owner of The Lamplighter. So many memories will take each of us back to the Good Ol’ Days with Karen singing country music Karaoke.
She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Allen, whom we know was waiting at Heaven’s Gate to welcome Karen back into his arms.
Karen is survived by her Daughter Tammy Quiel (Larry), and granddaughter Kellie Jo. Daughter Kellie Whittaker (Doug) and grandchildren Wesley and Shyie. Also Karen's brother, Buddy (Pauline) Stoddard of Florida.
Karen knew so many people and always helped those in need. Close family and friends of Karen will always be reminded of her by just hearing an old country tune as Karen loved her country music. You will truly be missed Karen Jo, each of us were blessed having known you. We will all find some comfort in losing you by knowing you are talking and walking with Floyd. We toast you Karen Jo with tears in our eyes and a smile on our face.
There will be a visitation on Monday November 1, 2010 at 5-7 pm at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA. A funeral will be held on Tuesday November 2nd at 10 a.m. also at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel with a graveside service to follow at 12:30 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA.
