John K. Zaharopoulos' Obituary
Born in 1936 in Zeli, Greece John endured World War II as a child and came to America and settled in San Bernardino in 1955. There he graduated from San Bernardino High School and attended Valley College where he studied business.
He became a United States Citizen and married Vonda, his wife of 46 years. John was an accomplished businessman and owned and operated multiple restaurants, namely DJs Coffee Shop on 40th Street for 43 years with his wife and family.
He was blessed with four daughters: Georgia, Andriana, Kiki and Jennie and four grandsons. He was active in his church and loved to golf and play guitar. John was known for his generosity, kindness and sense of humor.
He died December 4, 2013, at home, surrounded by his wife and children.
