Dearest John,
May you rest in peace. I have so many memories of djs and you as a boss working with the girls. Djs used to seem so big. You were like a second dad to my sister, or like a joking boss that you two opened djs in the mornings for years as she was the head cashier left in charge as someone you trusted. Her and Laurie would love joking around.
I do remember your brother always visiting and your smiles made everybody's day.
Your hard work for the church, business, and family will never be forgotten.

in honor of John.

Harry and I can not thank John enough. He was the family boss. Harry, Charlie my sister's carol and Diana and my daughter's Sheila and Angie Nicole and I all worked for John. He was a great man very loving and giving. Vonda and girls we are very sorry for your loss. I can not go into DJ's and not see him sitting at the end of the counter talking with his brother. If it was not for John I would not have my Harry. He and you Vonda played a big part of who my girls became they could have not asked for a better role model to teach them how to be a great worker. Love to the entire family.

Our deepest condolences to John's family. I remember the many times John opened DJ's early in the morning to accommodate the Del Rosa Hot Shots with a good breakfast before leaving for the fire line. It was an honor to know him. My utmost respect to him and his family.

So sorry to hear of John's passing. We were cusomers of DJ's from the first day it was built. Missed seeing the family members in the restaurant after it was sold. He was a real asset to business in the North end of San Bernardino. God be with you all.
