John Brinck Hague Sr.'s Obituary
John Brinck Hague Sr., born June 7, 1934, in Los Angeles, California, the third oldest of eight children, & a longtime San Bernardino resident, went home to be with the Lord at St. Bernardine Medical Center on March 3.
Known throughout the community with great respect as "Mr. Hague," he served as a little league manager at Newmark for nearly 50 years, mentoring & inspiring generations of young players & families.
He is survived by his loving wife, Grace, who warmly embraced his family; his children John & Kim Hague, Pam & Jack McPherson, Steve & Gale Hague, Billy & Brenda Hague, Heidi Hague & Cathy Reynolds, Tommy Hague, and niece & nephew Christine & Rob Davidson. With 16 grandchildren & 25 great-grandchildren, he leaves behind a large family who loved him dearly.
Never to be forgotten, he was preceded in death by his beloved former wife, Nancy, whose memory remains an important part of the family's life. He owned Johnny's Market in the 1960s & 70s and later Burger Palace on Highland Avenue. He remained in sales until the last days of his life.
A memorial service will be held March 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino, CA 92404. He will be greatly missed.
