Joan Doty's Obituary
Joan Doty, 71, a lifelong resident of San Bernardino, CA, passed away peacefully at Loma Linda University Medical Center on May 7, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Doty.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who loved to laugh and share her life with others. She will be truly missed! Joan is survived by her daughter Jana (Steve) Babbitt of Highland, CA; sons Josh (Marie Loera) Doty of San Bernardino, CA, and Jason (Sara) Doty of Yucaipa, CA. Also surviving her are grandchildren Jordan and Taylor Babbitt, Renae Loera and Jessica and Sydney Doty and Wyatt and Tristan Doty.
Also surviving her is her brother Bob (Susan) Brown of Fair Oaks, CA, brother-in-law, Ron (Karen)Doty, Sr., of Hemet, CA. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She was teacher for 36 years with San Bernardino City Unified School District; Board Member of the San Bernardino Teachers Credit Union; and dedicated President of the Wildwood Little League.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012, 5-8 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Montecito Memorial Park, Colton, CA.
