I have special memories of your Dad & Mom when they came to Uncle Normie & Aunt Til @ the Farm in Crescent, OK. When the Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, all came for Ice Cream or Watermelon we had a wonderful time. When we came to see them in 1994 after my Reirement they just couldn't do enough for us. He shared some wonderful road trips for us to see on our way to Oregon & Washington. We also shared a time @ the Lake with some California Cousins with their Trailers. We were playing Cards,joking, laughing when we had a knock on the door. The manager said we were too noisy & needed to be more quiet. We loved your Dad & Mom Our thoughts & prayers are with you.
The four brothers Marvin, Herbert, my Dad Noble, & Harold decide to take the train from S. CA to Guthrie, Oklahoma in the mid 1980's. It was not what they had anticipated & on arrival aunt Graple said they looked like they had walked all the way. Their ideal trip turned into a nightmare with tempers rising; my Dad Noble & Marven having words. Things mellowed down when each returned to civilization. I will always remember uncle Herbert as kind soul who never had a harsh word for anyone. Hugs to family.
