Harold Roy Hoppins' Obituary
Harold Roy Hoppins, 88, passed away on May 24, 2012 in Redlands, California. He led a “fabulous” life and was a resident of San Bernardino County for 29 years. He retired from sales and marketing which he worked for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife Helen; son, Curtis (Kathy) of Los Gatos, California; Son Terry of Los Gatos, California; He is also survived by his stepsons Ken of San Bernardino; David (Linda) of North Edwards, California; Tim (Diane) of Temple, Texas and step daughter, Patty (Randy) of San Bernardino, California.
Harold also retired as a Major with the Air Force Reserve and served as a pharmacist mate with the United States Navy during WWII serving from 1942-1945. He was a member of the American Legion, and very active with his retired Air Force squadron of San Jose, California. He served as a Fire Commissioner for the 5th Ward for the City of San Bernardino. He loved painting and camping in his spare time. Harold never had a bad day and was loved by everyone.
A rosary will be held on Monday, June 4th, 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption, 796 W. 48th St., San Bernardino, following by a Communion Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held on Monday, June 4th, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren, Riverside, California.
