George T. Finkle, Jr. 76, passed away on Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, in San Bernardino, CA. George was survived by his loving wife Alice of 44 years, children, Allison Finkle, James Ewell, Joseph Finkle, Melissa Hall and Vincent Finkl Read Obituary
Our deepest sympathy and prayers for comfort go out to Alice and your children. You touched so many lives in the community in a positive way. You will be greatly missed by the many friends you have left behind. Our greatest memories will always be the times we shared together at the many SWBA campouts and Bluegrass festivals. We will never hear a harmonica played without thinking of you.

Often, I tell the story about being about six years old and sitting on the curb across the street at my old house on Garner just waiting to get a glimps of George ride in on a police motor all proper and come out a few minutes later on a chopper with hair flying in the wind. I'd think, "That's the job to have!"
