Emma Jean Simpkins' Obituary
Emma Jean Simpkins, 86, went home to be with the Lord January 13, 2012 at home in Highland. Emma was born in Wilburn, Oklahoma and was a resident of San Bernardino/Highland for 51 years. She was a Teacher for 20 years, an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church, a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother & friend. She is survived by her 5 children, Ron Simpkins of Denver, CO, Doug Simpkins of Apple Valley, Gary Simpkins of Cabazon, Kim Gilliland of Simi Valley, Rob Zinn of Highland; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Graveside Service will be held Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 10:01 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging area # 5, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:15 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church in Highland.
