Hi Michiko,

You have no reason to remember me, or any of the other AMS squadron commnaders that Doug worked for at Norton, but we remember him. I'm writing for all of them because I'm the one who happened to be looking through the Press-Enterprise and saw a face I knew looking back at me on the obituary page.
So, speaking for all of Doug's Air Force friends who don't know of his passing, Doug was a good, gentle man who was always pleasant to be around. We all wish you well. May you have a feeling of peace in your heart when you remember all of your times with Doug.

I was blessed with knowing Doug for a year and a half from the Grand Terrace square dance club. He had so much energy and always had a smile on his face as though nothing in the world bothered him. He loved taking pictures of all of us dancing and feeding our faces and most of all "yellow rocking" everyone. I will surely miss dancing with him and his smile. I know there is a "square dance" heaven seat just for him. My condolences go out to his wife, children, and grandchildren. ##imported-begin##Janice Kubotsu##imported-end##
