Donald Paul Brubaker's Obituary
Donald (Don) Paul Brubaker “Bru”, 82, of Highland passed away on January 3, 2026 in San Bernardino. Born on May 5, 1943 in Lancaster, PA to Gladys and Paul Brubaker, Don worked as an Aerospace Engineer and was a US Air Force Veteran. He was the founder of the Bru-Clan, Big Horn 4x4 Club and a Contributing Member of the Ronald McDonald House.
Don is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart Donna Brubaker. Daughter Beth with her husband Harold Simpson. His son Paul Brubaker. Grandchildren Brandon Brubaker, Brightyn Brubaker and her partner Phil Garlich, Eric Simpson and his partner Lydia Davison, and Courtney Simpson. His sisters Janet Queen, June Eckelberger and brother Jay Brubaker and his wife Donna Brubaker. Along with his nieces, nephews, cousins, and his aunts. He is proceeded in death by his parents Gladys and Paul Brubaker, and younger sister Marie Davis. His nieces Denice Davis and Laura Queen and nephew Dick Queen. His mother-in-law Elsie Engle.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 9, 2026 at 10:00 am at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel in San Bernardino. Donald will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery.
