Dominick Robert Melchor's Obituary
Dr. Dominick Melchor, a well established and respected Chiropractor in San Bernardino passed away on June 19, 2012. Dr. Melchor had been practicing Chiropractic care for over 20 years after taking over the practice of Dr. Jack Bankler.
Dominick was a graduate of San Gorgonio High School, Cal State San Bernardino, and Los Angeles Chiropractic College. He was a member of the ELKS in San Bernardino, Eagles 506, and the Chamber of Commerce. Dominick also spent many years coaching his daughter Lauren at the Highland Girls Softball League and Travel Ball. He also coached T-Ball and Little League for his son Dominick Jr.
Dominick had the special gift of healing hands and many of his patients received the benefit of this gift. Dominick was a very caring and loving man and his family and friends were very important to him. Dominick always had a smile and a kind word for everyone he came into contact with.
Dominick is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Grace Velarde and his Uncles Robert and Leroy Velarde.
Dominick is survived by his children, Louis Melchor of Riverside, Lauren Melchor and Dominick Melchor Jr., of East Highland; his mother, Juanita Velarde of Riverside; father Robert Melchor of Sun City; brothers Frank Melchor of Riverside, Rodney Velarde Rangel of San Bernardino, Robert Melchor, Merced Melchor; sister Angle Melchor Alcaraz of Colton; and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends.
Visitation for Dominick will be held at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel 1299 E Highland Ave., San Bernardino on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with a Rosary service at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Adelaide Catholic Church, 27457 E Baseline St., Highland on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 10:00 AM with interment to follow at Montecito Cemetery in Colton.
Immediately following the Interment friends are invited to a reception held in Dominick's honor at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #506 located at 895 E Ninth Street., San Bernardino, CA 92410
