Debra Lynn Garvin, 49, passed away August 5, 2006 at home in Running Springs, California. Debra was born August 1, 1957 in Mesa, Arizona. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Running Springs Branch. She has been a resident of Running Springs for 7 years. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Kirk S. Garvin; 4 children, Rachel Garvin of San Bernardino, Adam L. Garvin (April) of Running Springs, Seth Edward Garvin of Running Springs and Gabrielle Garvin of Running Springs; parents, Lloyd and Sophie Harper of Chandler, AZ; grandmother, Louise Honor of Chandler, AZ; 5 brothers, Lyle Harper (Suzi) of Chandler, AZ, Mark Harper (Lanette) of Chandler, AZ, Tory Harper (Meg) of Mesa, AZ, Dayn Harper of Mesa, AZ, Dirk Harper (Rachel) of Los Alamos, NM; 2 sisters, Tanya Hansen (Richard) of Chandler, AZ, Andra Johnson (David) of Paulden, AZ. Viewing will be held Thursday, August 10, 2006 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino, California. A viewing in the Relief Society Room will be held 1 hour prior to the service on Friday, August 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 400 N. Shore Drive, Big Bear City, California. Interment will follow at Gold Mountain Cemetery, 370 N. Maple Lane, Big Bear Lake, California.
