D. Gene Pendleton born May 31, 1939, in Needles, CA, was called to his Heavenly home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Friday January 16, 2026. He was the last living grandchild of Bertel and Christine nee Johnson Berge Bertelson and of Will K. and Fannie nee Scoggin Pendleton.
[He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. He was employed 31 years by Farmers Insurance Company as a Senior Commercial Claims Representative and retired in 1999. He is survived by his wife Carol, two daughters Elizabeth and Ruth; 5 grandchildren Krista, Rose, Josh, Joseph and Sierra; 9 great grandchildren Emmanuel, Jonathan, Gabriel, Ilyana, Konstance, Jackson, Layla, John, Ellie Bea. Also survived by a niece Diane, a great-nephew Robert and his children Carrie, Christopher, Sadie and Meghan.
