Charles Francis Hazard Jr.'s Obituary
Charles F. Hazard Jr., 77, passed away on October 9, 2011 at home in San Bernardino. He was a 44 year resident of San Bernardino, and worked as a Load Master at Norton AFB and retired as Master Sergeant from the 14th Military Airlift Command in 1977. Charlie was a Veteran of both Korea and Vietnam and continued as a civil servant at both the March AFB and Norton.
Charlie could brighten a room with his smile; everyone who knew him loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Hazard; daughters: Debra Kilger and Vicky (Robbie Jenkins) Hazard; son: Richard C (Patrice) Hazard; stepchildren: Carrie Dotson, Lori Davis and Michael Costello; grandchildren: Jennifer, James, Alicia, Josh, Cassidy, Dustin, Wesley, Chad, Lindsey, Emily, Trenton, Logan, Evan, Erin and Lorin; great grandchildren: Parker and Gage; brothers: George and Robert Hazard; sister: Rosemary Bennett. Charlie was preceded in death by his first wife Gladys.
A Chapel Service will be held at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with an Interment with Full Military Honors at the Riverside National Cemetery Staging Area #5 at 12:00 Noon.
