Dear Hale Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Hale's death. I was a student as Cajon while he was a counsler. He was such an understanding man. I have ALWAYS remembered his kindness to me. During those years. While at student at Cajon (1979-81) I was having some very hard times in my personal life and he was always there to talk and help. I have thought about him many many times over the years. I think he may be surprised that I actually have graduated with a college degree now. I credit him much for that, due to his understanding, support and his continued "believing" in me. He will be missed.

Coach Hale meant a great deal to many young kids, but there was a group of us that went to Highland Jr. High and left in 1958. Coach Hale said we were special. He was a great mentor, counselor, and friend to all of us. I enjoyed seeing him from time to time at the Elks Lodge and talking over the old days. I will miss him, but the family should be proud of his accomplishments and the impact he had on so many of us.##imported-begin##Jerry Rucker##imported-end##
