Alice Wanda Gayle's Obituary
Alice Wanda Gayle (75) of Highland, passed away at home on Sunday, September 20, 2009. She was employed as a Clerk for the IRS for 20 years and was an excellent homemaker as well. She was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she participated in the Sunday School and Visitation Ministries. Alice loved to go to Hawaii with her husband and they both loved their “driving vacations” when they would get in the car and visit family.
Alice was a selfless person who derived great pleasure in putting the happiness of others before her own. She lived to host the family Christmas party at her house each year.
Alice is survived by her husband; Lewis Gayle, her children; Crystal (Art) Girard and David Gayle, her siblings; Geraldine (Richard) Cox and Jim (Angie) Johnston, and three grandchildren; Stephanie, Kristen and Elise Girard, and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel 1299 E. Highland Ave., in San Bernardino, with a Private interment to follow.
