Mr. William E. Locke Jr.'s Obituary
William E. Locke Jr., 88, passed away on October 26, 2016, at Redlands Community Hospital. Originally from Clear Lake, Texas, Bill had lived in the San Bernardino area for almost sixty years. He recently moved to Beaumont to be with family.
Bill worked for the Wonder Bread Company for thirty-five years. He was a member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church, the Elks Lodge 836 and the Masonic Lodge 178. Bill adored his family. In his spare time, he loved to go bowling, ballroom dancing and his ‘office’ was always San Manuel Casino. His favorite song was ‘I Hear the Train a Coming’ and he was a lifelong supporter of The Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by Ouida his wife of 50 years and some of his siblings
He is survived by his children, Cynthia (Herb) Wotring of Grand Terrace, Gail (Larry) Stormes and Lana (Michael) Tocchini both of Beaumont. Also surviving him are his grandchildren Alecia Gershman of Pasadena, Eric (Doreen) Gutierrez, of Hewitt, TX, Stacey (Jesse) Romero of Highland, Kristi (Joe) Biesek of Beaumont, Michelle Tocchini also of Beaumont, Herby (Kim) Wotring of South Carolina; and his great-grandchildren, Zachary and Tyler Gershman of Pasadena and Jailene and Ethan Gutierrez of Hewitt, TX and Isla Romero of Highland and his sister Theresa Sturges and his brothers James (Doreen) and John (Sharon) Locke.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, from 5-7:00 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA. A graveside service will follow on Thursday, November 3, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington, Colton, CA.
