WILLIAM H. LAWSON's Obituary
William H. Lawson, age 88, was ushered into heaven on March 5, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Peggy; a son, Bill Lawson of Hemet; a daughter, Susan Schulte of Yuma, Arizona; a son, Larry Lawson of Monmouth, Oregon; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jim Lawson of San Bernardino. Born in Riverside, California on June 11, 1918, he spent his earlier life in San Bernardino and was employed by the Santa Fe Railway for forty-two years, where he served as a fireman, engineer, Road Foreman of Engines, Air Brake Supervisor and retired as Trainmaster. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, March 9, at 10:00 a.m. at Montecito Memorial Park, Waterman Avenue and Barton Road, Colton.
