Wanda A. Hayes' Obituary
Wanda A. Hayes of Highland, CA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 21, 2017. Wanda was born in Okemah, OK to James and Iva King. She worked as a Teacher for the San Bernardino Unified School District for over 25 years and was a resident of San Bernardino County for over 50 years. She belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star and the Contemporary Club of Redlands. She was a long time member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her first husband Royce C. Chambless, her second husband Ed Hayes, and her son Keith Chambless. She is survived by her son Kent Chambless and daughter Cheryl Swanson, six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2 at 5:00 p.m. and a celebration of Wanda’s life will take please on August 3 at 12:00 p.m. both at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Montecito Memorial Park immediately following the celebration.
