WALTER GENE LOWE's Obituary
Walter Gene Lowe was called home by his Lord on July 10, 2008 at the age of 72. He was born in Harrison, Idaho, March 6, 1936. Walter served in the U. S. Air Force and retired from Aerospace Corp. He was a member of American Legion Post 777, F.O.E. Aerie 506.
Walter was a generous donor to many charities and organizations. He loved music, played the guitar and enjoyed being with family and friends singing karaoke. He always had a smile on his face and a funny little joke to tell you. He enjoyed playing chess, fishing and his Texas vacations. Walter always dressed like a “Saturday Night Texas Cowboy” which he claimed as his home state!
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Margie Faye Lowe, his four daughters; Karen Elizabeth Candler, Pamela Roberta Lowe, Sheila Gene Swift, and Kimberly Anne Bartlett and her husband William D. Bartlett. Also surviving him are his 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, his brother Robert Lowe Jr. and his sister Della Ivy Lowe. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday July 16, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA 92404. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday July 17, at 1:15 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518.
