Voncille Augusta McCrary's Obituary
With deepest sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved
Voncille McCrary a cherished resident of San Bernardino, CA for many years.
She died peacefully on April 27, 2025, at the age of 99, surrounded by her
loving family. Voncille’s life was a testament to her kindness, strength and
unwavering dedication. Born in Ryderwood, Ala., on March 24, 1926 to
Jack and Zula Lee Jones, she lived a life rich in family, faith, and service to the
Lord.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Voncille was
also a highly respected Registered Nurse, dedicating her professional life to
the care and wellbeing of others. Her marriage to Bill McCrary spanned 50
years.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be carried on by
her daughters and sons-in-law; Mary & Jim Martin, Robyn & Fred Wallace, and
Billie Jo & Jeff D’Agosta; her grandchildren, Kelli & David Caderot, Shelby &
Duncan Sinclair, Gabrielle D’Agosta and Abbie D’Agosta and her great
grandchildren Ryden Caderot and Blair Sinclair.
To honor her life, a memorial service will be held on May 7, 2025 at Riverside
National Cemetery, located at 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside, CA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Samaritan’s
Purse, a Billy Graham charity. This charity is one with which she was
passionately involved and reflects Voncille’s faith and dedication to the Lord.
