VIVIAN IRENE RIDENOUR's Obituary
VIVIAN IRENE RIDENOUR November 15, 1918 – September 20, 2006 Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother Vivian was born in Belle Plaine, Iowa. She was active in school and church. Vivian was Worthy Advisor of Rainbow Girls and after graduating from Belle Plaine High School, earned her teaching certificate. She was an only child and always wanted a big family. She got that wish when she married the love of her life, Jim Ridenour who was one of nine children. His sisters and brothers left the cold Iowa and moved to California. Jim, Vivian and their two children followed them and moved to San Bernardino in 1946. Vivian was devoted to her family and was adored by them. She served as a den mother in Boy Scouts and a Girl Scout Leader. She was employed for 27 years at Bourns, Inc. in Riverside and an Inventory Control Manager. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim of 62 years, and her infant daughter, Carol Beth. She is survived by son, Ronnie Ridenour of Northern California; daughter, Sharon Paul of Highland; grandson, Bret Ridenour of Salt Lake City, Utah; granddaughter, Shannon Young of Riverside; grandson Greg Burke of Fordland, Missouri; granddaughter, Leslie Boyer of San Bernardino; son-in-law, Alan Paul of Highland; 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She will be greatly missed by all. Viewing will be held on Monday, September 25, 2006 from 4-7 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino. Church Service will be at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 28355 E. Baseline, Highland. Interment will follow at Montecito Memorial Park.
