Looking up former shipmates from USS CONSTELLATION, I just discovered that Vito has passed away. I worked with Vito in the Captain's Office. I am sorry to see he is gone, but it looks as though he lived a full life after the Navy.
I am from St. Louis, but don't recall Vito telling me he was born there!
