Violet M. Myers
93 years old, a resident of Highland, CA died Oct. 2, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born Oct. 6, 1920 in Beaumont, CA. She was a graduate of Redlands HS, a member of several service clubs, & a faithful parishioner of St. Adelaide’s Church. She raised 12 children, has 30 grandchildren, 48 great-grand children, & 3 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Emmett Simpson who was killed in WWII, & husband Wallace Myers of 35 years, sons, Frank & Richard, daughters, Antoinette & Rosemary, grandson, Randy, great- grandchildren, Brandon & Kate. She is survived by her children: Clint, Joan, Kathy, Dandy, Shirley, Marilynn, Jeannie, Steve, & their spouses, twin sister Viola Crowley, many nieces & nephews. Visitation 5-7, Oct. 7th, Rosary 7 PM, Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., SanBdno. Funeral service Oct. 8th, 11 AM, at The Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 115 W. Olive Ave., Redlands. Interment will follow at Montecito Cemetery, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton.
