Vicki Joanne Imbriani's Obituary
Vicki Joanne Imbriani, 77, of Highland, California passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025.
Vicki was born on June 5, 1947, in San Bernardino to Wendall and Phyllis Johnson. She was the second child, having an older sister (Susan Luciani). She grew up in San Bernardino and went to San Bernardino High School, where she was in the class of 1965. She met the love of her life, Ray Imbriani while attending SBHS. She would go on and marry her high school sweetheart in St. George, Utah on June 17, 1964, and remain married for 59 years until his death. Together they would have 3 sons, Richard, Jeffrey, and Stephen, who would be the biggest joys of their lives and their proudest accomplishments.
Vicki worked in retail as a checker at several stores in San Bernardino and Hawaii. As well as various customer service positions in multiple locations during Ray’s military service. She also could be found coaching various sports during their stay in Hawaii. She helped establish RichCo with Ray and managed the business responsibilities. Vicki could be found supporting her sons as a board member at Newmark Little League, and team mom of the Yankees and Twins. She also coached Basketball at Assumption School in 1976. Her team went undefeated. She became a fixture at Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball, Cheer, Football, Soccer games, and Swim meets supporting her sons and grandchildren for the past 50+ years, and was well-known for her bag full of snacks.
Vicki is preceded in death by Ray (husband), Phyllis (mother), Wendell (father), and Taylor (grandson).
She is survived by her sons, Rich (Saundra) Imbriani, Jeff (Kim) Imbriani, and Dr. Stephen (Trisha) Imbriani; grandchildren Macy (Cody) Smith, Jeffrey Imbriani, Carly (Serena) Imbriani, Sara Imbriani, Stephine Imbriani, Marina (Izzy) Chagolla, Aubrey (David) Visocky, Demi Imbriani, Jaron Imbriani, and Keeli Imbriani; great-grandchildren Cole Imbriani, Jeffrey Imbriani, Sophia Imbriani, AJ Imbriani, Ariah Chagolla, Savannah Chagolla, Elena Chagolla, Mateo Imbriani, Santiago Imbriani, and Adelyn Visocky; Sister Sue Luciani brothers-in-law, Robert “Dude” Imbriani and Roger Imbriani, sister in law, Tonina Cook, and numerous nieces, nephews, along with bonus family members.
Funeral Services will occur at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11:00 am. A reception will follow from 1-4 pm at Escape Craft Brewery Barrelhouse and Events, 721 Nevada St Ste 401, Redlands, CA 92373.
