Verna Lee Palko's Obituary
Verna will be forever remembered for her warm, inviting, and comforting smile. She had a welcoming heart that made friends through the years with everyone she met. No one can remember a single negative word that she ever said about another. She was a loving mother, daughter and sister and will be forever missed. Verna was born in Morgantown, WV. Her family moved to Uniontown, PA where she graduated from Albert Gallatin High School as a member of the National Honor Society in 1957. A couple years later she moved to Avon, OH and worked for The Social Security Administration in Cleveland, OH. She met and married James J. Palko in 1962.
Verna is survived by her daughters Barbara Bryan of Highland, CA; and Carol Palko of Mount Dora, FL; her brother Donald Wilson of Hardy, VA; her sisters Deborah Walters (Bill) of Montclair, CA; Susan Partridge of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Cynthia Reel (Jim) of Upland, CA; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband James J. Palko; her parents Charles and Wilhimena; her brother Charles Wilson; and sister Karen Wilson.
