Mr Vergene Bud Price's Obituary
Vergene Bud Price, 92, a long time businessman in San Bernardino, passed away September 1, 2012, in Redlands.
Bud was an insurance salesman for 37 years and was known and appreciated by many clients, creating church insurance programs throughout Southern California. He was active in youth groups for the First Presbyterian Church, also serving as a Deacon and Ruling Elder; the YMCA, the Optimist Club and the Woodturners Association. He served in the 5th Armored Division, US Army, from 1942 to 1945, serving in 5 European Campaigns.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Jean of Highland; David and his wife, Sunny of Joshua Tree; a daughter, Linda of Riverside; two grandsons, Benjamin of Highland and Daniel of Fayetteville, NC and two great-grandchildren, Holly and Jill.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to your charity of choice in Bud’s name.
