Karen Lamb
Vera was a wonderful mother-in-law. She welcomed me into her family and made me feel like I was truly family to her. She and I had some great conversations over the years - she told me about growing up during the depression, how she learned to sew at an early age, about her marriage and having four children, about her work in a doctor's office. She recalled all these things vividly. She often said how proud she was of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
